like ten degrees in philadelphia right now. subzeroing poconos. feeling like six above right now in atlantic city. we are going to warm temperatures up into the day tomorrow. we do have a winter weather advisory effects for much of the area. philadelphia county north and west, up until the lehigh valley and poconos all through the day and good portion of tomorrow night with snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain in the forecast k i'll talk about the timing of all this and how much we can expect accumulation wise coming up in just a few minutes. >>all right a. lauren thank you so much. take a look at these amazing pictures of the after math of a six alarm fire. the fire took place at joe's auto body on the trick hundred block, firefighters had to use a tremendous amount of water. and the temperatures being so cold check that out. left eyer firefighters pouring water on the fire. that was from yesterday. now the temperatures were enough to freeze all of that water you but not enough to stop walkers

figure out exactly what cased this mystery illness over the weekend the campus was cleaned and disinfected. they are also working with jefferson hospital to provide students with free visits with doctors. a woman is in critical condition after being hit with a bottle and stabbed and slashed with broke kin end of that battle. has been in northeast philadelphia at a bar. 73 hundred blocks of frankford avenue in may fair. that's where eyewitness news reporter greg argos joins us. >> reporter: good evening. the staff concern you can see it is locks. it is closed. inside a huge mess after that woman nearly killed after she was slashed in the throated like you mentioned with that broken beer bottle. philadelphia police on scene. medic arrived in may fair. the 37 year old victim her throat slashed being wheeled

away by paramedics of the the victim was dancing with another person inside the bar sunday morning. that's when another woman approached her, hit her in the head with a beer bottle which shattered and slashed her i know the threat. the victim remains in critical condition at course definitively hop un northeast philly. >> philadelphia police have not made any arrests. northeast detective say they are continuing investigation. tonight at 11:00 you'll hear from members of this community here in may fair and concerns they have over this tavern and some of the incidents that happened here over the past few management's live in may fair p i'm greg argos cbs three eyewitness news. >> thank you very much. a woman is in stable condition after two men impersonating utility workers attacked her inside her home. it happened this mourning point breeze section. city. two men armed with guns posing as utility workers forced their way inside the home and assaulted the woman. she suffered lacerations to her

forehead. no arrest has been made and nothing was that taken from the home. governor has order flags in pennsylvania to half staff in memory of supreme court justice antonin scalia e this is video of the flag outside of the supreme court in washington d.c. justice antonin scalia was found dead yesterday at a west texas ranch. the 79 year old was on a huntting trip with three decades on the supreme court he was the longest serving justice t native of trenton, new jersey. president obama has said he does plan to nominate antonin scalia successes sore in the coming days. also tonight you knew cbs pole those donald trump with a p command ding lead. craig boswell has the the latest from greenville south carolina. >> reporter: florida republican marco rubio was looking for votes sunday in south carolina. >> if you nominate me we are going to unified this party.

>> a lot longer. wind chill temperatures rs arctic blast impacting all northeast. more mild air that is going to present a problem. we are going to see a period of win tree mix tomorrow evening. this morning it was all clear skies. and all cold. dropped down to eight degrees this morning in philadelphia. 11 below in mt. pocono. start of the day at two in allentown. seven in atlantic city. temperatures are still very cold at this hour mainly in the teens. single digits in the poconos even degrees in philadelphia. but arctic air mass, invasion is impacting all the norths east. and good portion of the eastern seaboard. record temperature in new york city, one below was their start to the day. of course cold temperatures still a bit breezy, wind dust 25 miles per hour in philadelphia really impacting, current winds has relaxed finally wind speeds

calm to light. that's how we'll stay as we head into the overnight period. quiet conditions. clouds starting to increase from south and west in advance of next storm system. quite a bit of snow in parts of the mid south. moisture will start to build into the delaware valley as we head into the day tomorrow. we do have a winter weather advisory in effect in philadelphia areas norths and west into the lehigh valley and mounted pocono until late tomorrow night. for tonight quiet conditions increasing clouds light winds dropping down to 15 degrees. still a cold night. tomorrow snow develops transitioning over into happen win tree mix. later today late after nooning early evening high temperature. that's better 35 degrees. so here's how it looks light snow arriving by midday tomorrow. then we'll see a period of snow take us into the afternoon. then transitioning over to a win tree mix. we could see sleeted, snow mix, some rain mixed in by the early evening hours. we'll see a brief period of that

here in the city. we can see one to three inches of a kind of snow and sleet mix. turning to rain. all rain by the late evening hours. but, areas norths and west. city we can see a prolonged period win tree mix even possibility of prolongser longed period of freezing rain. we could see ice accumulation. future whether four clock tomorrow mainly all snow for everyone. transitioning to rain down the shore of the late day tomorrow. transitioning to rain in the city as we head into the lait evening hours. poconos transitioning into rain latest midnight tomorrow. as we head into tuesday more wet weather in store. it is going to be all rainfall periods of heavy rainfall that will exit as we head into the evening. ice accumulation up towards lehigh val and poconos we could see a little bit of ice sink. that will create hazardous conditions. main time frame we'll see possibility of ice sink is going
